San Bernabé 2025 in Logroño: history, celebration and flavour in the heart of La Rioja

From June 7 to 11, 2025, Logroño is in festive mood. The city celebrates its patron saint San Bernabé, commemorating the resistance against the French siege of 1521 — a feat that blends tradition, history and local pride.

  • Historical re-enactments: military encampments in the Ebro Park evoking the 1521 siege.
  • Procession and official proclamation: on June 11, the traditional San Bernabé procession winds through the historic centre.

  • Fireworks: nightly displays from Parque de La Ribera, with the grand finale on June 11 at 23:00.
